 Born in the vibrant city of São Paulo, Brazil, Margot Barre's journey to becoming a celebrated youth leader and educator began at a young age. When she moved to the United States, her family's dynamics shifted, with her single mother working tirelessly to support Margot and her two brothers. This challenging environment meant Margot's family had to rely heavily on after-school programs and community involvement to bridge the gap in care and nurture.

Fortuitously, Margot became part of the largest non-profit after-school program in Los Angeles, an experience that would shape her future profoundly. The positive and transformative impact of these programs ignited a passion in Margot to give back. She began her journey as a Counselor-In-Training (CIT), demonstrating an early commitment to youth development and community service. Her dedication saw her rise through the ranks to staff member and ultimately to the prestigious role of director at the second-ranked elementary school in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Margot's pursuit of excellence didn't stop there. She continued her education in early childhood development, equipping herself with the knowledge and skills to lead with both heart and expertise. Over the years, she has earned a reputation as a naturally gifted educator and youth leader. Margot's philosophy is simple yet profound: to put in 100% effort to ensure her students not only have a great time but also learn invaluable skills and life lessons.

Her approach to education is holistic, focusing on the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of each child. Margot brings to our program an immense amount of experience and unparalleled care, qualities that set her apart in the field. Her commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment makes her an irreplaceable asset to our team.

 Ana Cordova is a dedicated and compassionate Camp Leader at Sedona Camp, known for her natural ability to connect with children and create an environment where they feel safe, supported, and genuinely excited to participate. With a calm presence and positive energy, Ana helps foster a sense of belonging that allows each child to show up as themselves, build confidence, and fully engage in the camp experience.

At the heart of Ana’s approach is a belief that childhood should be both joyful and meaningful. She thoughtfully balances structure with creativity—guiding children through a variety of activities that encourage exploration, teamwork, and self-expression. From outdoor play and group games to creative projects and quiet moments of reflection, Ana ensures that each part of the day contributes to a well-rounded and enriching experience.
